About The Club

Swansea Bay Orienteering Club provides a focus for orienteering across much of South West Wales, including Swansea, Neath, Port Talbot, Llanelli, Carmarthen, as far as Pembrokeshire and Brecon.

The Club organises events, introductory sessions, coaching and training events and social activities. There are currently about a hundred members, of all ages, some of whom just take part in local events; others who compete in international events.

Much of the focus in the Summer is on the series of mid-week evening events the Summer League. Throughout the rest of the year there are other local events and coaching sessions. In addition, we normally host at least two major events each year.

Social activities are also important, as we are a very friendly club, and there is a regular diary of these events as well as the orienteering.

To find out more and to meet us, come along to one of the introductory events. We will be happy to see you and provide help in getting you started.
